SD Wing Gundam

Hello everyone, time flies and today (311212) is the last day of 2012. Well good or bad, it's gonna over and 2013 is a new year for everyone of us. And just in time, i had managed finished my last project of the year which is my SD Wing Gundam. A Present from my friend.

The color is a simple one, and also this is my first air brush build although still have alot to work on, but at the least i had gave it a try :) Below are the pics, hope you guys enjoy it and feel free to comment. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year :D

Project: Classic Battle, pt 3 (Final)

Hello everyone, now comes to the final part of the project which is the scene that i mention. RX-78-2 vs. ZAKU II. The scene will be a dessert scene like for it.

Next will be the Gundam which is RX-78-2 & ZAKU II

I have use craft knife to cut some scratch mark and paint with weathering kit to make it more realistic. Over all since it in dessert, i have make the 2 mobile suit dirty with sand and burn marks.

BATTLE SCENE 

Following pictures will be the battle scene and is the finish of the project. The project description will be RX-78-2 vs. ZAKU II. The core fighter is kind of caught in between the battle -_-

Finally this project has finish and it had given me more confidence in my Modeling Hobby. Total time i spend on doing this project is estimate of 2 weeks. Kindly comments it and thank you :) Though i am still at basic level, i wanna do my best in this hobby just like my Music Journey:) Also meetings lots of people and making new friends to share the interest. Project: Classic Battle, pt 2

Hello everyone, this is part 2 of the blog for Classic Battle. First of all, i had decided not to use this project for the GUNPLANATIC competition/ gathering as i have greater plan for it plus there are still alot of time. For the time being, i am still planning for it, as i wanna do the best out of it to challenge myself so for that I won't be updating about it that soon, but once done, i will upload.

This part of the blog will be the other Gundam which is RX-78-2. It took about 4 days for me to finish this HG RX-78-2. What i done for this model is panel line and painting for the weapons (Beam Rifle and Bazooka).

It's a simple build and took me about 4 days to finish it. Below are some random pose for my RX-78-2 :D Enjoy and do comments ^^

Project: Classic Battle, pt 1

Hello everyone, sorry to keep you waiting. Been busy for audition and exam for last few weeks. Since last week i had finish my exam, i had decided to build Gundam as it's been awhile since i last build it. This time round, i am building for the GUNPLANATIC group competition & gathering. Been thinking through of what Gundam i want to use and what scene i wanna create. This had gave me quite sometime for my researching and i decided to do something related to the First Gundam Series if you all had watched before, The Battle between Rx-78-2 vs. Zaku II.




This set that i bought included 2 Gundam and this set is more for beginner. It cost about $25 which i bought at Hobby Art Gallery. If you guys wanted to ask me why don't you get RG instead of HG my answer will be i am on budget for this month as i had spend alot on Christmas Gift, Haha so have to lower down the cost.

This time round, i am gonna start from basic as i know that my skill as Gunpla builder still needs alot of improvement. Also i probably will be doing abit of painting but will do more on weathering and as the scene i haven't decide yet and so for the past few days, i been working on my Zaku II and completed it on last Friday.

I had took some pictures for you all to see and kindly do give me feedback on improvement/ suggestion. I will be doing for some touching up again and will upload part 2 of this blog. Do give me your little support. Thank you^^

Music & Gundam

^^ Hi everyone, my name is Khai Chuan and you all can call me kc. This is my first blog and in the future i will post my Gundam work in this blog and hoping you guys can give me some tips on it. Thanks alot :) ^^

It's been a year, since I started on Gundam Modeling....

I had been liking Gundam for the last 10 years. But never really wanted to buy 1 and build it myself until last year October, i had decided to start on Gundam Modeling as my new hobby.

Reason????

I had been playing music as my hobby since 2002 till now and the instrument that i play is Double Bass and Cello. The thing is i not a great player & i am just a amateur player. Although i can play the music note by note, but there's one thing i lack off is my artistic expression. This is real important as it will affect how you play the music, doing an art work, looking at art pieces and etc. My senior which is a father of 2 children had told me about it and also i had mention that i wanted to start on Gundam and he encourage me to do it since it had related arts and i had go through a series of thoughts as whether i am ready for this hobby. As i know that i am not good at handicraft and will probably spoil the Gundam. But I decided to give it a try, Since there's a saying that, "If you don't try, you won't know".

After 1 Year...

Well through this 1 year of Gundam Modeling hobby, I had gone through alot of sweat and fun and taking part the Mid-Year and GBWC 2012. Plus knowing alot of great guys helping me through my Gundam Modeling, giving me advice and tips and appreciate the Gundam work that i done which i posted the pics in my Facebook. Thanks alot!!! & you know who you are^^

Gundam Modeling is really fun and you can create many nice model out of it. Such as color matching, swapping parts, posing and many more. This really give me a great ideas of how things really work out  even you do a small changes. 

Through life, you will met alot of obstacles and whatever obstacles you met, you can overturn the situation just like how you can modify a not so cool Gundam Model into a Powerhouse Gundam Model.

Conclusion :)

I will continue to work hard with my Gundam Modeling and also improve on my artistic expression. And i hope you guys will continue giving me your support and Thanks alot. God Bless :)
