Gold Plated Kits Solution

*****Gold Plated Kits*****

Hi Everyone,

How are you? Hope you are doing fine just as me :) Today's gonna write a simple review about a kit that i just done during my break. Guess you all know, It's HG MSN-00100 'Hyaku Shiki! Well of course you all know, cause above shows the Box Art of it.

One thing special about this kit is, it's an old kit and also the 1st Gold Plated kit ever release in HGUC which cost 1500 Yen as compare to other gold plated kits which are expensive nowadays.

Below are some Gold Plated kits:

One thing for sure, It's has the beauty of it and for people who like 'Bling Bling' stuff, i am sure every cent of penny you spend on it are worth it. Haha, Well let's go over to the kit that i build.

It's an old kit so don't expect much detail, articulation, etc. I had did some paint jobs on other part of the kits which gave a much better look.

Well, never did any editing, and the sparking effect is kind of strong. Wowwww!!! That's the pros of the the gold plated kit.

Now with the cons which many people will understand what i gonna said, which is Nub Marks and Seamlines:

Solution

To Prevent of getting obvious nub marks, you got be tactful when cutting the parts out and after cutting, use a craft/ modeler knife to remove it slowly and steady. Some of the parts will show the nub mark and best that you use a gold marker/ paint to cover it up. I used gold marker to highlight the marks.

For seamlines, you can't really do anything unless you want to repaint the whole kit. If not just leave it.

Overall, if you want to just do an out of box build over your break/ free time. Gold Plated kits may be an idea kits to build it. And after you build it, the blingness will grant you satisfactions ^^

Central of Attraction

Well that's about it. At the same time of building Hyaku Shiki, Aside of that, i also worked on my Astray at the same time. This time round, I had paint the flight unit and added bit of modification to it. Do stay tune for the part 2 of Going on a Astray Path :D That's about it and wishing you all a good day :)

Do feel free to feedback to me if you have any comments. Seeking improvement at all times^^

Going on a Astray Path

^^Going on a Astray Path ^^

Hi Everyone, It's been awhile since i last update my blog. Yes, It's been awhile ._.

): Apologies to keep you all waiting :(

But i am sure you all are nice people, right? :) Hehe ^^

Anyway, i just found a Full Time Job and this 3 months have quite a number of commitment stuff to attend so have been working inconsistently on my work and i didn't even take part in the GBWC 2014. It's kind of upset though but, next year, i gonna join and aiming to win the Top 3 but before winning Top 3, my usual philosophy comes into play, Making a work for everyone to appreciate :)

Haha yeah, so recently i have been working on a Commission MG Wing Zero & HG Astray for the coming year end group build in Singapore. Not easy to juggle between work, hobby and personal stuff, but Time Management is important so have to deal with it. I wouldn't mind guiding you or even we can discuss together to manage our time more efficiently :)

Well, I should stop my nagging and present to you my Galaxia Astray. Further modification, repaint and diorama will continue later.

In terms of articulation, details and proportion it's have improve alot compare to the previous Astray that i built. Hmm.... of course la, technology & stuffs around us will keep on getting better and better so we ourselves have to keep it up. Hahaha -_-

Well, that's about it for now.  Hope you guys like this week post :) Also if you are interested in joining the group build, do visit the website to register by selecting the grade and astray that you wanna work on it:

RG Exia Review

RG EXIA (Worth the buy?)

Hello everyone, it has been a month plus since i last updated my blog. Been busy for job hunting, attending interviews and working on a few kits. Well, let's put aside my personal matter and let's look into the recent release of a new kit by Bandai, RG GN-001 Gundam Exia. This is the No. 15 model in the RG Line and so far, RG series is worth to buy due to the articulation and detailing of the model itself. However, downside is, that not every suit in the Gundam Anime will be feature in the RG Line and only for suits that are popular and in demand will appear in it. So now, let's go straight to the review of the kit!

Review

The kit itself can do alot of action pose in refer to the anime scene that you want your kit to be pose at. Be it a pose with GN Blade, GN Beam Sabers, GN Sword, etc, It can be articulate very well. To add on, the kit come with a chrome like blades to enhance the image of the weaponry for the suit.

Below are photos that i had taken to share with all of you:

So how you find the kit so far? Fascinating? or Meh??? Haha but well, this kit does not come alone, you all should know what i mean, the package that i bought include a A6 brochure that promote the upcoming P-Bandai product that is feature about EXIA!

Well, It's a marketing strategy. And if you all are interested in the upcoming P-Bandai product that feature about Exia, do get your order asap :)

Lastly, I would rate a 9/10 to this kit (do check it out my personal opinion). It's a nice kit after all and if you are new to RG or wanna find a kit that is relatively easy to build, do consider RG Exia :)

So is RG Exia worth the buy? It's up to you! :D Haha

Personal Opinion

I have fun in building the kit itself and overall look is small  and stylish! The building process itself is not that complicated and relatively easy to complete. Overall parts/ joints are secure and not that stiff. As usual, RG always come in small parts and realistic decal (stickers) which you have to deal it with tactful ways to prevent the parts/decal to be lost.

Lastly, do enjoy your life and happy modeling! ^^
